BLUE BLOODS

Pg. 7 to 15
Schuyler and Oliver are waiting in line at The Bank. The Bank is not a bank, its a nightclub. A club for people 21+ years of age... Schuyler and Oliver are 15. They are praying they can get in with the fake IDs they have. While standing in line, Schuyler sees a blond haired guy get out of a cab across the street. She swears she sees him dive in front of a taxi that is speeding by. She runs across the street, expecting to see a dead body, but when she gets there, the guy is counting the change in his wallet. The moment Schuyler sees the guy's face she knows who it is. Its Jack Force. Jack is the most popular guy in school. Head of the lacrosse team and he always got the head part in the musicals/plays. He was the kind of guy who would never talk to someone like Schuyler, but on this day... he was flirting with her. Schuyler was having a great time until Oliver interrupted. He said they had to go if they were going to get in to The Bank. Schuyler and Oliver head towards The Bank as Jack Force walks in the opposite direction. Schuyler and Oliver manage to get through the doors of The Bank. Fake IDs and all.
>>It sounds like Jack Force is the guy that every girl wants to date and every guy wants to be friends with. Schuyler reminds me of myself. She has a couple friends and is not really noticed in school. She is just another kid in the class.
Pg. 16 to 22
Next to The Bank, there is a different kind of nightclub. The kind that existed once every decade. Mimi and Jack went to this kind of club. Mimi's little "crowd" and Jack were sitting in a room, but every went to have a cigarette break, everyone that is, except Mimi and her date. Mimi says her date smells extremely good. She says just one bite but there are too many witnesses around. Since Mimi's date was drunk and passed out on the couch, she went to dance with other guys. Mimi danced with these guy for hours at a time. When she returned to her drunken date she realized that Bliss had gone to have a cigarette, but never came back.
>>Mimi seems to be the biggest player. I dont think she cares who she is with as long as she has some one.
Pg. 23-28
Bliss goes outside for a cigarette, while she is digging for a match, Dylan Ward offers her a light. They talk for a while and Bliss begins to realize that Dylan is just like her. He is a transfer student like her and he doesnt fit in very well. Bliss was a transfer and Mimi took her by the hand and accepted her. Bliss feels lost but doesnt say much about it because she doesnt really want anyone to know.
>>I really like this story because it about kids in high school. Its easy to relate to.

Pg. 29-37
The following Monday at school the students are called to the chapel for some news. No one knows whats going on, but when they get setteled Dean Molloy explains that Aggie Carondolet had died over the weekend. Dylan Ward is surprised because he had talked to her a little on Friday night and he had no idea that would be one of the last times he would see her. Dean Molloy says school will be let out at noon due to the death.
>>This is a big deal in the school because there are about 40 kids in each class so the school is almost like Grundy. Not very big, everyone knows everyone.

Pg. 38-42
After the news of Aggie's death, Jack and Mimi were told they had to go to the office and talk to the Headmistress. While they were in the office, they were told they could go home and have the rest of the day off. The committee understood how close they were with Aggie. Jack and Mimi leave the office and discuss the death. Jack says Aggie's body was empty. The blood had been drains completely. After their discussion, Jack said he was going back to class even though he was told not to, and Mimi was going shopping because she needs an outfit for the funeral.
>>I'm kind of curious about the relationship between Mimi and Aggie. Mimi doesnt seem to care that her friend died. All she cares about is getting a new outfit. Does she care at all?

Pg. 43-47
Schuyler went to her second period class. The teacher, Mr. Orion was asking about any memories anybody had with Aggie. Bliss thought about Friday night, at the club. Aggie was found in the "closet" of the Block 122 club. The closet was a room in the back of the club where the druggies hung out. Most people thought Aggie had died of a drug overdose, but Bliss knew she didnt touch drugs. Drugs were looked down upon. Bliss make a comment about how much Aggie loved her dog, and just like the conversation went to something describing how pets are people too. Schuyler like Mr. Orion, but she hated the way he let the conversation go. Jack walked into class late and the only open seat was next to Schuyler. She didnt know why it was such a big deal, she had sat next to him before. She got sick of listening to the conversation about pets so she started to doodle in her notebook. She realized that she was drawing a profile of Jack, but quickly covered it when Jack tapped her paper and motioned toward a note he had written on his paper. "Aggie didnt die of an over dose. Aggie was murdered."
>>How does Jack know what happened to Aggie? was he there? did he see it? if he knows something that no one else knows why doesnt he say something?

Pg. 48-56
Bliss walked out the doors of Duchesne and saw her step mother, BobiAnne, waiting for her. Sliss was slightly embarrassed and she wanted to take a taxi cab homelike every other kid, but she walked to the car and got in. When they got home, BobiAnne handed Bliss an envelop that had come in the mail that day. The envelop was an invitaion to join The Blood Bank charity. At school it was called The Committee. The Committee was bery popular. Bliss had a sister in 6th grade, named Jordan. While Bliss was in her room, Jordan knocked on the door and asked a few questions about Aggie. She said she knew that Bliss knew exactly what happened to Aggie, but Bliss denied everything, explaining that it was a drug overdose.
>>What would Jordan know? How would she know if Bliss knew exactly what happened? This story is getting really good. I like it a lot :)

Pg. 57-64
When school let out, Schuyler went home and went to her room. Schuyler shut the door behind her dog, Beauty. Schuyler was startled when she heard "Home so soon?" but when she turned around she realized it was Cordelia, her grandmother. Schuyler was forbidden to call Cordelia Grandma. Cordelia announced that supper was at six and left the room. Schuyler began to wish she had a normal life. She had no parents, only her grandma as her gaurdian. Schuyler got a text message from Oliver that said, MISS U BABE. Schuyler was happy to know she had a true freind like him.
>>Oliver seems like the kind of guy who will be there when ever you need him. Schuyler is lucky to have some one in her life.
Pg. 65-71
Aggie's funeral was in the chapel at Duchesne. Mimi, Jack and their father, Charles were in the front row. Bliss walked in the door, wearing black. BobiAnne walked in, wearing black, but Jordan walked in wearing white from head to toe. Mimi noticed a lot of people were in white and this confused her. Who wore white to a funeral? After the funeral service, Charles was approached by Cordelia. They talked about Aggie's death and Cordelia said, "This could have been prevented, you know. The kids should have been warned." Charles kept saying, "Not here." Cordelia then speaks of a girl named Gabreielle and Charles freaks out. Mimi is curious about this girl too. Charles dropped the conversation at that, and walked away from Cordelia. Mimi notcied Jack walking towards Schuyler. Mimi didnt like the way Jack looked at Schuyler. She thought Jack could only look at one person that way..... her.
>>What was going on with the conversation between Charles and Cordelia? Did they have some past situations like this one with Aggie? Why does Mimi think Jack can look at her that way, but no one else? Does she want to be more than a sister to Jack?? Its a little weird...
